A Taste of Fall International Food Fest

PROVIDENCE — Holy Name of Jesus Parish will hold an international food festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the rectory, 99 Camp St. The festival features delicious, unique tastes from around the world, including African, Korean, Italian, Polish, Cape Verdean, Congolese, and Senegalese cuisine. St. John Paul II Feast and Eucharistic Procession

PAWTUCKET — St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., will celebrate its parish patron on the weekend of October 25 and 26. On Saturday, 5:30 p.m., there will be a gathering in the church hall with food and a ministry fair. On Sunday, the 10 a.m. Mass will conclude with a Eucharistic procession around the church property with the statue of Saint John Paul II. Scholar-in-Residence Dialogue on “To Everything a Season: Nostra Aetate Sixty Years On”

PROVIDENCE — The Providence College Jewish-Catholic Theological Exchange is hosting the annual Fay Rozovsky Lecture on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. The dialogue will feature Professor Thomas Bolin, Scholar-in-Residence in Jewish Studies and Jewish Christian Relations. Open House at Saint Raphael Academy

WOONSOCKET — St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish will hold its Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 174 Harris Ave. The kitchen will be open for eat-in or take-out, featuring favorite dishes like golabki, cabbage soup, hand pinched pierogi, homemade kielbasa, and zapiekanki (Polish pizza). The event will also have a homemade pastry table, a boutique booth, attic treasure table, games of chance and much more.

PROVIDENCE— A Jubilee Celebration of Sacred Art will take place at St. Patrick Church Hall on Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon to 5 p.m. Come meet local and regional artists whose works reflect and give glory to God. Some of the art will be available for purchase.

NORTH PROVIDENCE — Mary Mother of Mankind Parish will hold its annual snowflake bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parish hall, 25 Fourth St. The bazaar will feature gifts, baked goods, raffles, baskets, jewelry, a kids’ booth with photos with Santa, and wine and dine.
