Ann G. Boulet Presentation on Loss and Grief

SMITHFIELD — Local author and former educator, Ann G. Boulet, will be giving a presentation on loss and grief at St. Michael's Church Hall, 80 Farnum Pike, on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. The talk is open to everyone. Ann is certified in Thanatology by the Association for Death Education and Counseling.

St. Joseph’s Parish to host Polish Christmas Bazaar

CENTRAL FALLS — St. Joseph’s Parish will hold its Polish Christmas Bazaar in the parish center, across the street from the church at 391 High St., on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy fresh Polish food, Polish pastry, children’s toys and games, a flea market, crafts, and much more. Everyone is welcome to bring their families and friends.

St. James Church Parish Bazaar & Giant Flea Market

MANVILLE — St. James Church will hold its annual Parish Bazaar & Giant Flea Market at the Fr. Brindamour Church Hall and the Father Brouillette Center, 45 Division St., on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parish crafts, including wreaths, handmade ornaments, jewelry and knit goods will be for sale, as well as gifts for adults and children, and baked goods. There will be several raffles, including a Penny Social (only until 2:30 p.m.), Split the Pot, and a special Cash Raffle. Little Sisters of the Poor Annual Turkey Drop slated for Nov. 16

PAWTUCKET — The Little Sisters of the Poor will hold their annual Turkey Drop at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main St., from Sunday, Nov. 16, to Sunday, Nov. 23. Drop off donations of frozen turkeys between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to be prepared for Thanksgiving dinner for the residents and resident meals throughout the year. St. John Paul II Christmas Bazaar

PAWTUCKET — St. John Paul II Parish will host a Christmas Bazaar in the St. Cecilia Church Hall, 755 Central Ave., on Friday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (ticket sales end at 1:30 p.m.). The bazaar will feature raffles, food, a silent auction, and a variety of shopping, including books, crafts, tools, plants, and vendors. The hall is handicap accessible. Knights of Columbus Dinner Fundraiser for Bishop’s “Keep the Heat On” Initiative

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The Knights of Columbus will hold a Pasta Dinner fundraiser for the Bishop’s “Keep the Heat On” Initiative at the Council Hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road, on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The dinner, held in memory of Bob Moniz, will include pasta, meatballs, tossed salad, garlic Italian bread and butter, coffee and tea. Sounds of the Season Concert planned

PROVIDENCE — The Gregorian Concert Choir and Festival Orchestra will present “The Sounds of the Season” at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. The concert, featuring the music of Advent and Christmas, will benefit the Diocese of Providence’s “Keep the Heat On” fund, which assists poor and low-income families with utility expenses.
