Children’s New Coat and Toy Drive
CENTRAL FALLS — A children’s new toy and new coat drive will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 391 High St., until Nov. 21. All donations from infant to teen may be dropped off in boxes marked for donations in the vestibule during the following weekend Masses: Saturday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at the 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses. Little Sisters request donations for annual Turkey Drop
PAWTUCKET — The Little Sisters of the Poor humbly request donations for their annual Turkey Drop at Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main St. Each day from until Nov. 20, between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., the Religious Sisters will gratefully accept a generous offering of frozen turkeys which will be used for Thanksgiving dinner and meals throughout the year. Divine Mercy Series at St. Pius V Church
PROVIDENCE — St. Pius V Church, will host a video and discussion series on Divine Mercy at Caffe Lepanto in the church hall, Roslyn Street entrance. The series will take place at 12:30 p.m., on November 16: “God’s Master Plan;” November 23: “Mary’s Knight;” and November 30: “The Final Question.”
Ladies Guild to host “Turkey Trot”
PROVIDENCE — St. Bartholomew Church Ladies Guild will host a “Turkey Trot” on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m. All are invited to a fun evening of prizes, including grocery baskets, gift cards and miscellaneous gifts. Christmas Treasures sale
PROVIDENCE — St. Raymond Parish will host a Christmas Treasures sale on Nov. 20, from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., in the church hall, 1240 Main St. The event will feature gently-used Christmas collectibles, glassware, outdoor and indoor decorations, ornaments and more.
St. Anthony Church Christmas Bazaar
WEST WARWICK — St. Anthony Church, One Sunset Ave., will host a Christmas bazaar on Saturday Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will feature Portuguese and American food, malassadas, basket raffles, games of chance, baked goods, candy, Bingo, gift card raffles, wreathes and pots; and will welcome special guests Anna from Frozen and Buzz Lightyear.
Legion of Mary’s 100th anniversary
PROVIDENCE — Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Legion of Mary at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul at 1 p.m. on November 21, the feast of the Presentation of Mary. All are welcome. The Legion of Mary was founded by Frank Duff and a group of devoted lay people in Dublin, Ireland, on Sept. 7, 1921, the birthday of Mary. The celebration of the centenary will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a Holy Hour of Adoration and Benediction. A collation will follow. Knights to host Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Christmas Star Festival
PROVIDENCE — St. Agnes Church, 351 Branch Ave., will hold the annual Christmas Star Festival in the church hall on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 28, the parish will host a Holiday Breakfast from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The bazaar will feature a penny social, grab bags, bake table, pot of gold and raffles. Pro-life speaker Obianuju Ekeocha to visit St. Patrick Church
PROVIDENCE — Internationally proclaimed pro-life speaker, activist, strategist and author of Target Africa Obianuju Ekeocha will speak at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., on Nov. 29, 7 p.m. She will speak on African values of life, beauty of marriage, blessings of motherhood and the dignity of family.
Talk on Blessed Charles de Foucauld at Saint Sebastian Church
PROVIDENCE —Saint Sebastian Church will host a talk presented by Bob Short about Blessed Charles de Foucauld in the parish hall, on Tuesday, November 30, 7 p.m. Brother Charles was a contemplative and missionary who lived among the Muslims of the Sahara until his death in 1916.
