Christmas Bazaar
CHEPACHET — St. Eugene Church,1251 Putnam Pike, will hold its Christmas bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The bazaar will include food, crafts, Christmas ornament making, music, special raffles, fun and more.
Sweet Spirit of Christmas
BRISTOL — Sweet Spirit of Christmas, sponsored by the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Rosary/Altar Society, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 4 - 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 15, 8 a.m. – noon, in the Monsignor Lolio Parish Center. Festive trays of homemade assorted cookies, holiday candies and tickets for the Christmas raffle will be for sale. Quarts of homemade pasta sauce will also be sold.
Christmas Music
WARREN — On December 14, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., will welcome Gary James Farias performing Christmas music and requests from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The small admission fee includes coffee, tea, and pastry. The kitchen will be open selling food and soft drinks. If you can, please bring a pastry to share. There will be an opportunity to participate in a raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 split the pot.

Christmas Boutique
PROVIDENCE — Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., will hold a Christmas Boutique Corner on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. There will be Christmas items, accessories, clothes, jewelry, toys, unique items and handmade crafts. All proceeds will benefit the parish Saint Vincent de Paul Ministry.
Breakfast with Santa
EAST PROVIDENCE — Sacred Heart Church, 118 Taunton Ave., will host a breakfast with Santa on Saunday, Dec. 15, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Christmas Concert
WOONSOCKET — On Sunday, Dec. 15, 3 p.m., St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 Mendon Road, will present a free Christmas Concert featuring the parish choir, Sunday quartet and the Providence Youth Guitar Ensemble.
Lecture on history of St. Mary’s, Newport
NEWPORT — St. Mary’s Church, Newport, will host a lecture on the history of its parish on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 3 p.m. The talk, by Dr. John F. Quinn, is entitled “Triumphs and Trials: St. Mary’s in Gilded Age Newport,” and it will be presented in the church, which is located at the corner of Spring Street and Memorial Boulevard West. There is no fee, but reservations are requested. Please use the William Street side entrance. There is plenty of free parking in the church lots off William Street.
