Free Income Tax Preparation (VITA)
PROVIDENCE — IRS-certified volunteers at Amos House, a fully handicap-accessible agency at 460 Pine St., are preparing free income tax returns for those earning $57,000 or less. There are two options: coming in for document drop-off and a safe-distance in-person interview, and fully electronic. For drop-off, appointments are required; they are available on Mondays and Wednesdays during the day and Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus on selected Saturdays, by calling 401-272-0220. Completed returns available for pick-up within a week. Electronic filers do not have to come in. St. Thomas More plans Parish Mission
NARRAGANSETT — St. Thomas More Parish will host its Parish Mission on February 14, 15, and 16. Msgr. Thomas Richter, Pastor, Queen of Peace Church in Dickinson, N.D., will present the mission titled, “Encountering Jesus More.” All three evenings will begin at 7 p.m. at St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road. Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition at St. Pius V
PROVIDENCE — During the Lenten Season, St. Pius V Church will host the International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, who was beatified October 10, 2020. Before his death in 2006 at age 15, Carlo designed a presentation of over 130 Eucharistic miracles approved by the Church. Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 17, the church will be open daily from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., for viewing the exhibition. The last day to see this display is Palm Sunday, March 28. St. Theresa Shrine to offer fish ‘n’ chips dinners during Lent
NASONVILLE — St. Theresa Shrine 35 Dion Drive, will offer a fish and chips dinner on the Fridays of Lent beginning Friday, February 19. The dinner includes a large or small portion of delicious fried fish, coleslaw and rolls. The dinner will be available from 3 – 7 p.m. Dinners are for take-out only. Pick up will be in the church hall on a first come, first served basis. Social distancing will be maintained.


Stations of the Cross at St. Romuald Chapel
SOUTH KINGSTOWN — All are welcome to attend a unique experience of the Stations of the Cross as seen through the eyes of Mary, taking place every Wednesday beginning February 24 through March 31 at 12:30 p.m., at Saint Romuald Chapel, 61 Atlantic Ave., in Matunuck.


First Saturday Devotions to Our Lady of Fatima
PROVIDENCE — The St. Augustine Council of the Knights of Columbus, the Men of St. Joseph, and Relevant Radio are continuing their First Saturday Devotions to Our Lady of Fatima in the new year. Devotions are held at St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road, at the corner of Mt. Pleasant Avenue, beginning with the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 3:45 p.m. and continuing until 5 p.m., featuring praying of the Holy Rosary in music and song at 4 p.m., private meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary at 4:30 p.m., and Mass with Holy Communion beginning at 5 p.m. All are invited.
