“The young men who participate in our Arts programs make us proud everyday,” said Richard Sylvia, Dean of Campus Life and Director of Arts. “To see their preparation and talent recognized by professionals in our art is something incredibly special. In a year full of challenging circumstances, we are excited to see them showcase their skills and collaborate with other exceptional student musicians from all over Rhode Island.”
The All-State musicians were chosen based on a video audition which required each to learn a specific piece for their instrument or voice part. Auditions were then evaluated by a panel of professional musicians across Rhode Island. The selectees will rehearse over the course of the next two months culminating in the All-State Music Festival in March.
