I would like to commend the Rhode Island Catholic and Executive Editor Rick Snizek for the comprehensive and well-written story about our Coadjutor Bishop Richard Henning.
Like Bishop Henning, I was born in the same Mercy Hospital about 20 years earlier and raised on Long Island and later migrated to Rhode Island. I assure him that he will be welcomed by the good people of the Ocean State. I especially enjoyed the photo of St. Patrick’s in Bay Shore where I served as an altar boy.
