Franciscan Missionaries Mass

NORTH PROVIDENCE - The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary will hold a Mass, March 24, 9 a.m., in the Holy Family Chapel, 399 Fruit Hill Ave. Benefactors and individuals enrolled through the sale of religious greeting and sympathy cards will be remembered at the Mass. Day care center sets open house

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Fruit Hill Day Services for the Elderly, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., will host an open house, March 25, 1-3 p.m., at the center. The facility offers a program of daytime care designed for adult men and women who are limited by age, ill health, deteriorating physical and mental status or lack opportunities for socialization. St. Kevin holds 'living stations'

WARWICK - The parishioners of St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, will perform "The Living Stations," March 30, 7 p.m., in the church. The parish youth group, "Youth on Fire," will participate in the re-enactment of the events leading up to the crucifiction. For more information, call 737-2638.

Parish nurses sponsor Mass

JOHNSTON - The parish nurses of St. Brigid Church, 1231 Plainfield St., will sponsor a Mass to anoint the sick and elderly, March 24, 11 a.m. Individuals suffering from an acute or chronic illness, preparing for surgery, or who are advanced in age, are welcome to receive this sacrament. Legion plans Acies ceremony

PROVIDENCE - Members of the Providence Comitium of the Legion of Mary will gather at the Holy Family Chapel of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., March 25, 1 p.m., for the group's annual Acies ceremony. Providence College hosts talk

PROVIDENCE - Providence College, corner of River Avenue and Eaton Street, will present the St. Joseph Colloquium, March 22, 3:30 p.m, in the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies. The colloquium, entitled "Women in the Church," will include a discussion led by Sandra Keating, assistant professor of theology at Providence College, and panelists Dominican Sister Teresa Houlihan and Jessica Pane, college campus minister. Our Lady of Loreto plans dinner

EAST PROVIDENCE - Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., will host its annual "St. Joseph Day Macaroni Dinner," March 25, noon-3:30 p.m., in the parish hall. The menu will include antipasto, pasta, meatballs, Italian sausage, Italian bread, coffee and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by Lino Del Signore.
