Solemnity of All Saints

Posted

On Tuesday, November 1, the Catholic Church’s Latin Rite celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. It is a holy day of Obligation. For Catholics throughout the United States, it is a holy day with the obligation to attend Holy Mass. The Solemnity commemorates all who have attained the “beatific vision.” On this day the Church remembers all those men and women, known and unknown, who have attained their eternal reward. These holy men and women intercede for us at the throne of God in heaven and offer us the greatest hope that one day we will all be united with them.
