Bristol Knights of Columbus Council 379 Grand Knight presented the David Simoes Award to Father Stephen Battey, pastor of St. John Paul II Parish in Pawtucket. Father Battey was honored for the four years of service and spiritual guidance he provided to the Knights as chaplain. Father Battey served as assistant pastor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Bristol, from June 2017 to July 2021.
