The diocesan celebration in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe took place on Monday, Dec. 12, at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Providence, beginning with confessions, prayer of the Rosary, “Serenata” with the diocesan choir; and a solemn bilingual Mass with Auxiliary Bishop Robert C. Evans, accompanied by priests and deacons who serve in the diocese. Music was provided by the Spanish diocesan choir and the Mariachi of Veronica Robles. This event was organized by the diocesan office of Multicultural Ministry and the diocesan Guadalupe Committee.
