EXCELLING ON THE COURT: During the first week of La Salle Boys Basketball Camp in Providence, 11 boys from San Miguel School received scholarships to attend camp. The boys participated in basketball fundamentals, games, and activities. La Salle Academy Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Bill Black said that “The boys from San Miguel were exemplary campers who excelled on and off the court.” The San Miguel School, located in Providence, is sponsored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers and serves boys of all religious faiths in grades five through eight. San Miguel students who received basketball scholarships are Michael Pulgar, Jay-Juan Hayes, Mike Anthony Garcia, Victor Concepcion, Adriel Concepcion, Jamere Pina, Kenneth Medina, Samuel Medina, Tyler Andrade, Justin Tavarez, and Albin Bautista.
