Vacation Bible Camp
PROVIDENCE — The annual Msgr. Sabourin Vacation Bible Camp will be held Mon., July 15 through Fri., July 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St. Camp is bilingual and wheelchair accessible and is being offered for children ages 10 and up and for adults with disabilities. The camp is hosted by the Diocese of Providence’s Office of the Apostolate with People with Disabilities and St. Patrick Church, Providence. Volunteers welcome. Afternoon of Music
WARREN — St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., will hold a free afternoon of music on Sunday, July 21. Gary James Farias will provide the entertainment from 1 - 4 p.m. outside on the church grounds. The kitchen will be open selling sandwiches, malasadas and beverages. You may bring your own food and drink. The event will also feature split-the-pot and raffles. Bring a chair or use one of ours.
Arts Week

Jesus Saviour Church plans summer bazaar

NEWPORT — Jesus Saviour Church, 1 Vernon Ave., will hold its annual summer bazaar on Thursday, July 25, Friday, July 26 & Saturday, July 27, from 5 – 11 p.m. each evening. In case of a rain out on Saturday, the bazaar will be open on Sunday, July 30 from 12 – 5 p.m. for food only. The bazaar will feature the ever-popular bingo, pull tabs, and booths such as kiddy land, assorted games and attic treasures.  Homemade fava, chourico sandwiches and homemade pastries are the specialty of the kitchen every night. There is a major raffle with prizes totaling $2,500. Admission is free and open to the public.

Outdoor movie nights
CRANSTON — The Knights of Columbus, Rev. Richard A. Donnelly Council No. 322, will host free outdoor family movie nights at St. Mark Church, in the parish field, 31 Poplar Drive. Gates open 45 minutes before the film’s start time. The schedule is as follows: Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian — Friday, July 26, 8 p.m.; Ant-Man — Friday, Aug. 16, 7:30 p.m.; Star Wars (VII): The Force Awakens — Friday, Aug. 30, 7:30 p.m.; Spider-Man: Homecoming — Friday, Sept. 13, 7 p.m.; The Avengers — Friday, Oct. 4, 6:30 p.m. Seating will be available but limited. Basketball Clinic at Chesterton Academy

Knights plan golf tournament
RICHMOND — The Knights of Columbus Pope Pius XII Council in Narragansett will host its 12th annual Golf Tournament at the Richmond Country Club, 74 Sandy Pond Road, on Saturday, August 10. To date, the tournament has provided over $76,000 in seminarian scholarships and more than $40,000 to local charities. Knights plan $5,000 Raffle
CRANSTON — Rev. Richard A. Donnelly, Council No. 322 of the Knights of Columbus will conduct a $5,000 Raffle in honor of the Feast of Blessed McGivney. Only 150 tickets will be sold.
