TO THE EDITOR:
The people of Ukraine have suffered at the brutal hands of Putin’s Russia during the past several years.
I am saddened and nonplussed by those who insist or in the past have insisted on the falsehood that the war is Ukraine’s fault.
I urge everyone to become acquainted or reacquainted with the past brutality suffered under the heel of Russia when Joseph Starlin’s enforcers confiscated so much of Ukraine’s grain that millions of people died of starvation (the Holodomor of 1932-1933).
The people of Ukraine need and deserve advocates at every level who desire that Ukraine be at peace, be made whole and be made free.
