St. Joseph Church plans giant flea market, crafts fair

St. Brigid Church plans Easter bake sale

JOHNSTON – St. Brigid Church, 1231 Plainfield St., will hold an Easter bake sale, offering traditional homemade Italian cookies and other sweets, April 16, before and following the 5 p.m. Mass; and April 17, prior to and after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Palm Sunday Masses. Ministry office plans workshop, retreat

PROVIDENCE – The diocesan Office of Life and Family Ministry will offer a Gabriel workshop, June 4, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Scalabrini-Dukcevich Center, 300 Laurel Hill Ave. The event, themed “Domestic Violence 101,” will begin with Mass at St. Bartholomew Church, located across the street from the center, followed by presentations and discussions.

A Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat will be offered June 3-June 5. The retreat offers an opportunity for men and women, couples, grandparents or siblings who struggle with the emotional pain of abortion. For more information about these programs or to register, call 421-7833, ext. 118.
